GFWC Learning Academy Course Directory

  • As we wrap up the 2024–2026 GFWC Texas Administration and begin the 2026–2028 Administration, many of you will be transitioning from one position to another. Some ofyou will also  be stepping into leadership roles for the first time.
  • To support you—whether you are new to GFWC or a long-time member—GFWC has launched a new Learning Center. The GFWC Learning Academy serves as our online training platform and offers a wide range of courses designed to meet the needs of members at every stage of their club journey. 
  • Members seeking insight and training to enhance their skills and knowledge will find these videos especially beneficial. The Learning Academy also connects requested educational topics with GFWC club members and leaders who have expertise in those areas and are willing to serve as online trainers.
  • To access the Learning Academy, log in to the GFWC Member Portal, click on Learning Academy, and select your course. Modules may be viewed at your convenience. Be sure to click More within each course to explore additional topics. A link to the directory is also available on the GFWC Texas website.
  • Whether you are new to your position or a seasoned leader, I hope you will take
    advantage of this valuable GFWC member benefit. These training opportunities are not just for leaders—they are for every GFWC member throughout their membership journey. Select a course you would like to learn more about and view the module.

Legislative Action Center

Since its inception in 1890, the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) has been a beacon of community-driven activism, uniting its members to address national and global concerns.  GFWC members as grassroots activists have left an indelible mark on society. 

Did you know that the GFWC resolutions that support bipartisan legislation is the method used to effectively championed for various causes, shaping legislative agendas and impacting policy decisions.  

You will receive information about upcoming legislative actions.  You will be provided a sample letter to use or write your own. When signing up for the Legislative Action Center with your email and address it will provide you with a  of your congressmen.  It is easy and painless.  

Let us stay informed so we can make the best decisions for our families, communities, country and the world.  Many voices are louder than one.
