What is ESO?

Epsilon Sigma Omicron is a stellar program within GFWC that fosters reading and lifelong learning among its membership. An honorary educational society that garners support on a voluntary basis, ESO encourages GFWC club women to read books from a diverse list of thirty-four (34) distinct categories, write a brief report on each book, bunch them into category groups of four and submit them to their state ESO chairman

Levels of ESO

The first ESO level is completed when a club woman submits sixteen book reports (four books in four different categories) and officially becomes an ESO Member, making her eligible for a Certificate of ESO Membership and the honor of wearing the ESO Membership pin. Continuing to submit book reports from other categories will result in achieving higher ESO levels including Star, Torch, Century and Diamond.
